Vedon is a desktop-automation service made by Ladoga LLC (“Ladoga,” “we”). This notice explains what information we handle when you use Vedon, the Vedon browser extension, or this website, and what we do with it.

Vedon is used by organizations, not consumers. When your organization runs Vedon, it decides what gets automated and is responsible for that data; we process it on the organization’s behalf and under its agreement with us. If that agreement says something different from this notice, the agreement applies.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, work email address, organization, role, and sign-in details. If your organization signs in with Microsoft Entra ID, we receive your identity from Microsoft; we never see your password.

Content you automate. Vedon lets people and AI agents operate desktop sessions and web pages. To do that, it processes whatever those sessions contain: screen images and video, page content and form values, browser tabs and cookies when a task needs them, keyboard and mouse actions, clipboard content, files, and the results of each action. It also keeps an activity log of who did what and when. How much of this reaches Ladoga depends on how your organization deploys Vedon: if it hosts Vedon itself, this content stays in its own systems; if it uses Ladoga-hosted infrastructure, the content passes through and may be stored there.

Usage information. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, and error reports, used to keep the service running and secure. This website does not use advertising trackers.

The Vedon browser extension

The extension has one purpose: to let a Vedon agent authorized by your organization see and operate the browser profile it is installed in. When asked to, it can read the content and form values of pages you visit, list and manage tabs, click and type on pages, and read or set cookies for a site. It sends this data only to the Vedon software running on the same computer, never directly to Ladoga. From there, the deployment rules above apply.

The extension does not collect browsing history for its own use and does not use anything it sees for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or resale. Data it handles is used only to provide and improve the extension’s single purpose; it is not transferred to advertisers or data brokers; and people at Ladoga can read it only with your permission, to investigate abuse or a security incident, or when the law requires it.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, verify who is signed in and what they may do, respond to support requests, bill customers, and improve Vedon using usage data and feedback. Where the law asks for a legal basis, ours is performing our contract with your organization, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where required.

AI models

We do not use your content to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. Your organization may choose to connect Vedon to an AI provider such as Anthropic; when it does, the information needed for each task, such as prompts, page or screen content, and results, is sent to that provider under its terms. Your organization controls whether and for what that connection is used.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:

• your organization and the people, tools, and providers it authorizes;
• service providers that help us run Vedon: Microsoft Azure for hosting and storage, Microsoft Entra ID for sign-in, GitHub for this website, a STUN service for setting up live video connections (it sees network addresses, not screen content), and Anthropic only if your organization enables it;
• authorities or others when required by law, to protect people or the service, or to investigate abuse; and
• a successor if Ladoga is part of a merger, acquisition, or sale, with notice where the law requires it.

Retention and security

Live session content is held only while the session runs unless someone records, downloads, or saves it. Activity logs are kept for a short default period that your organization can adjust. Recordings and other saved artifacts are kept until an authorized person deletes them. Account and billing records are kept as long as needed for the relationship and legal obligations. Backups age out on a fixed schedule.

Data is encrypted in transit, kept in access-controlled storage, and separated per organization. No system is perfectly secure; your organization is responsible for the endpoints it runs Vedon on and for who it authorizes.

Where data is processed

Ladoga is based in the United States. Ladoga-hosted infrastructure runs in the United States and Europe, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where required, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. Organizations that need data to stay in a particular region can arrange that in their agreement.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how it is used, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data-protection authority. If Vedon is provided by your employer, ask them first; we will help them respond. Otherwise, email privacy@ladoga.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Business use only

Vedon is for organizations and their authorized users. It is not intended for personal use or for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We will update this notice when the service or the law changes and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced where appropriate.
